Peter's Dad loves him way too much to sugar-coat the gnarlier truths of life. Besides, all that sugar he's eaten is already well on its way to rotting various parts of his body and make him morbidly obese. Oh what? It was sugar-free, then? My bad. None of that is happening - just the artificial sweeteners giving him cancer and making his potential offspring develop gills and whatnot, then.
